Vision Statement

Inspiration is dedicated to serving the emergence of personal, relational, and planetary wholeness. Recognizing the intimate connection among all living beings, we honor the interdependence of ourselves and others and are open to being inspired by the gifts and potential inherent in all life on the planet. The commitment to our own individual awakening in each moment is the foundation for our endeavors. Our path is designed to promote holistic embodiment of presence, wisdom and love, in order to facilitate each being's healing, evolution of consciousness, and connection with the Divine. We support others through individual healing sessions, group workshops, events and celebrations, selfless action, and love. We pray for divine guidance and inspiration to travel a true path of life, love, and service.

Ride Sharing

Many people have requested that we start a ride- board here on the web site for folks to figure out how to connect with one another to share rides to events or classes. With the new WIKI section, we now have the ability to do just that! Go to the Ride Board to post a request or offer of a ride.

Prayer Line

Prayer Helps. For a long time the Inspiration Community has had a telephone prayer line that people could call to ask for prayers. We have recently added a WIKI section to the website so that people can make prayer requests here too. Please visit the Prayer Line page and leave your request and/or say a prayer.

Expansion Projects

PHASE ONE

Over a two year period, a member of the Inspiration community, who wishes to remain anonymous, unexpectedly donated $183,000 with the hope that it could help expand the facilities and services of the Inspiration Consciousness School. We will be eternally grateful to the donor’s deep generosity, commitment, and complete faith in our good works and mission.

In this phase we accomplished:

A. Tearing down the old barn and saving beams that were from the Civil War Era
B. Construction of a 2-Story Vermont Timberframe with cedar siding
The New Building contains:

• A 20’ x 22’ carpentry workshop and storage for future building on the land and maintenance
• A beautiful space that can be used for overnight accommodations during retreats, for visiting teachers to stay, or for practitioners to treat clients
• A complete toilet and shower facility
• A dedicated Inspiration office

C. Creation and funding of an Inspiration School Coordinator, and an Assistant to the Spiritual Director

PHASE TWO

In the second phase of the project, the pavilion that has been used for outdoor concerts, events, sleeping accommodations, and occasional classes, is being converted into a 3-season dedicated classroom, lodging, and events space.

The vision was conceived by Darriel Park, who brought it to the board and our primary donor for approval.

As our donor shared, "I think this is a WONDERFUL idea. The whole idea of having classes that are more in nature, and attuned to the outside is really great. And then we'll have something immediate that helps the community grow bigger." (continued…)
