Essence Course

This is a "spiritual warrior" course for people seeking to dissolve the central wounds that create an illusory sense of separation from the Divine. The Essence class is the heart of the Inspiration Consciousness School because it is designed to reveal and embody the unique core Essence and gift that dwells within each of us.

Participants in the class are invited and pushed to release all habits of egoic preference and become naked and transparent in the face of Essence. The pain and terror that is created when we experience the illusion of separation causes us to invest the primary energies of our physical, emotional, and cognitive selves to defend against further hurt. Because of this, the essential states that dwell within every being, such as presence, strength, peace, oneness, truth, willingness, love, attunement, radiance, energy, beauty, deep intimacy, clarity, illumination, guidance, faith, joy, and infinite unfolding, are never fully contacted and integrated into life.

In a dynamic, powerful, and challenging setting of dedicated seekers, participants are supported in relinquishing the physical, emotional, and cognitive illusions, defenses, and behaviors that obstruct Essence. As these obstructions fall away, the Divine is revealed and abiding in Consciousness becomes a reality. It is possible to live a life that is completely available to the evolution of the creative life force in form. In this class, we must be prepared for unprecedented transformation of our experiences, voices, movements, gestures, choices, relationships, and actions.

Details

The class meets once per month for ten months. Each class meeting is four hours. All participants are responsible for the completion of an Essence Project, which is constructed with the input of the student, class members, guides, and finalization by the instructor.

Prerequisite: Completion of the One-year Spiritual Apprenticeship.
