THE LINEAGE CLASS

The class will meet every other month for six hours for one year. Course participation will include recommendations and homework.

Course Topics

This new class takes a magical and fascinating journey to the roots and evolution of one of the most ancient spiritual lineages on the planet. For many people who have read Autobiography of a Yogi, the explanation of Kriya Yoga and Babaji has awakened a curiosity to understand this system of Yoga, healing, and enlightenment. Jessica began her studies of this lineage at the age of 15 and continues to have contact with the core teachings of the Tamil Yoga tradition. This class will offer participants a curriculum which includes:

1. Learning about the historical aspects of the lineage
2. Being exposed to principle teachers and their teachings
3. Introduction of certain fundamental techniques and the opportunity to practice them with Jessica and the group ongoingly
4. Study of books and poetry which illuminate the teachings

Some of the topics covered will be asanas (Yoga postures), mantras, kaya kalpa, constructing personal retreats, Kriya Kundalini Pranayam, and physical healing and rejuvenation.

Details

The cost is $648/year or $108/class or $600 if paid in full by the first class.

Note: We realize that November 30 is the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend; however, November 30 is Babaji’s birthday and it feels auspicious to begin the class on this day.
